The 2017-2018 holiday season has been a very busy one, indeed, with the KRAB server. Not only did I have a nice bit of time off from work, but the recent blizzard and sub-zero temperatures have pretty much kept me inside, doing computer work.
First, since the quackhouseradio chat pages have been down for a couple weeks, I’ve had to pull the backup chat out of mothballs. Click HERE to go to it.
I FINALLY got around to fixing passive ftp on the server.
I finished work on a series of scripts to automatically create static webpages. These scripts will automatically update and zip them together, placing them in the Z-mp3index directory on the ftp server. (The bootlegs directory has been renamed to Z-Bootlegs, so that they will appear at the end of the list.)
As my previous post stated, the massive Wishbone Ash posting from 20 Sep has been finally corrected, fixing some bad tagging and file names. I have also fixed the tagging with a few other large directories that I had known about: Grand Funk Railroad, Golden Earring, Traffic and Rammstein. If anybody encounters any weird characters in the tags, please let me know what band/album it was, and I will try to repair it asap.
